Welcome to www.VIGrads.org. VI Grads web page is dedicated to the thousands of students who attended Vincentian Institute, founded in 1917 by the Rev. William R. Charles as a co-institutional Catholic High School of the Diocese of Albany NY and staffed by the Sisters of Mercy and the Holy Cross Brothers until it closed its doors in 1977. Each year the freshman classes were reminded: You don't go through V.I. - V.I. goes through you! This website is proof of this . . . The Watercolor of V.I. was painted by S.F.
